Special Education
The Eastern Lancaster County School District provides a continuum of services for learners determined to be eligible for special education services without discrimination or cost to the learner or family. The district operates K-12 programs for Autistic Support, Emotional Support, Learning Support, Life Skills Support, and Multiple Disabilities Support. Policies and procedures that assure that learners with disabilities are included in the general education programs, extracurricular and non-academic programs, and activities to the maximum extent appropriate in accordance with an Individualized Education Program are implemented. Learners are educated in the Least Restricted Environment (LRE) to meet their unique need.
