Director of Athletics - Keith Blackwell

Keith is a proud 2006 graduate of Garden Spot High School and has been deeply connected to Spartan athletics for much of his life. After returning to the district in 2017 to teach Technology Education, Keith continued his long-standing involvement in Garden Spot sports—transitioning from a former student-athlete to a dedicated supporter, staff member, and leader. Known as the “Voice of the Spartans,” he has served as the announcer for football and basketball games for over a decade. Keith is passionate about fostering a positive and spirited athletic culture that reflects the pride and tradition of Garden Spot.

 

Athletic Trainer / Assistant Athletic Director - Michelle Chamberlain

Michelle has been the Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Director at Garden Spot High School since February 2019. Prior to that, she was the Athletic Trainer at Central Dauphin High School from 2013-February 2019. She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and then attended the University of Florida where she graduated with a Master of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology in 2013. While at the University of Florida she served as a graduate assistant where she was the Head Athletic Trainer for Santa Fe High School and Trenton High School.

Administrative Assistant - Mary Ann Harple
