New District Website- Coming Soon

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to share an upcoming update to the Eastern Lancaster County School District website that is designed with you in mind. Beginning during the first week of March, the District will transition its website platform from our current provider to one that is in better alignment with community feedback as well as ParentSquare, our new communication tool. This change is part of our ongoing effort to improve how we communicate with families and how easily you can find the information that matters most to you.
Over time, we have heard your feedback and concerns about website navigation, specifically around locating frequently used items such as calendars, school information, announcements, and resources. As we have prepared for this transition, our primary focus has been on simplifying navigation and making key information easier and faster to access, whether you are visiting from a computer or a mobile device.
One example of the improvements you will see is in calendar alignment. Moving forward, calendars within ParentSquare and the website through Smart Sites will be fully synced, ensuring that dates, events, and updates are consistent no matter where you view them. This means fewer discrepancies, less confusion, and greater confidence for you that you are always seeing the most up-to-date information.
Our ultimate goal is to provide families with relevant, efficient, and timely communication through tools that work well together and are easy for you to use. By aligning our website platform more closely with ParentSquare, we are taking a meaningful step toward a more connected and streamlined experience for everyone in our school community.
As with any transition, we appreciate your patience as well as your input. Please continue to share your feedback as we work to make sure our website best meets your needs and helps you to be fully involved in our school district.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of the Eastern Lancaster County School District.
Thank you,
Michael Snopkowski
