Autistic Support PCA (Secondary) - 7 paid hours/day
Learning Support/Work-based Learning Paraprofessional - 7 paid hours/day
Lunch Monitor Sub - Brecknock Elementary School - 3 paid hours pre day
ESL Paraprofessional (Garden Spot High School) - 6.75 paid hours/day
Lunch Monitor (New Holland Elementary) - 3 paid hours
Substitute Paraprofessionals, PCA’s, and Food Service Assistants – Hours vary depending on position
Bus Drivers
Are you interested in being a school bus driver? Eastern Lancaster County School District contracts with Brightbill Transportation, Inc. for its transportation needs and currently is in need of bus drivers.
If you :
- have good driving skills with an excellent driving record and are in good physical health
- are concerned about the safety of school children
- are a people person who enjoys children
- are accommodating to work with parents and school administrators
- are a team player
- are available to attend regular training classes
- are sensitive to the special needs of all children

Department of Education - PA School Bus Driver Interest Form
This school year, a nationwide school bus driver shortage has negatively impacted the beginning of the school year for many school districts in Pennsylvania. As a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holder, you may be qualified to serve your community as a school bus driver this school year. If you are seeking work, or are interested in supplemental employment, please know that many school entities are offering signing bonuses, retention bonuses, and other incentives to attract drivers.
Teacher Substitutes
Eastern Lancaster County School District is currently looking for substitutes to fill daily and short-term substitute positions. The Substitute Teacher Service, STS, announced the implementation of the STS/IU-13 Guest Teacher Program. This program allows those who have a 4-year degree to take an online training program that would prepare them for teaching in the classroom as a day-to-day substitute teachers.
