Welcome to the Eastern Lancaster County School District.
We are a productive and proud district that emphasizes the importance of the individual. Our focal point is clearly stated in our Mission Statement. We believe that ALL students should have the opportunity to maximize their potential so that they may become adults with knowledge, skills and character.
To meet our Mission statement goal, we pay particular attention to the people who are employed in our district. We know that our goals can only be accomplished if we employ the right people. Our administrators, teachers and support staff are selected with great care because we know we will only be able to accomplish great things with great people.
Our spirit of partnership focuses on parents, community members and business leaders. Our task is huge and the job cannot be done in isolation. Our schools are a vital, important part of our community. We open our doors to all who are interested in helping our schools be a better place for students to live and learn.
I invite you to become an active contributor to our mission. If you are a parent, stay close and involved in your child's school. If you are a community member, think about opportunities to fulfill civic pride by giving something of yourself to the education of young people. As a business member, assist our students in offering whatever you can to help our schools be successful.
